First fit the fittings along the wind screen edge as normal
At the rear detach 3”x1” ‘plate’ from the bottom of each ‘Y’ shaped strap and feed the end of the strap (with the popper stud)  through the gap between the support stay and the u shaped bracket holding it.
It is sometimes necessary to remove the bolt through the support stay to give enough space for the strap to be pushed through.
Re attach the plate, and as tension is put on plate will brace against the bracket

Half Hoods
The pictures left shows the replacement stud above the wheel arch.
If you need to use the hood in a hurry we recommend you tuck the boot cover under itself and fit the side popper band directly on to the car.
This shows the new back to back stud fitted on the out side of the boot cover
